Home Buyers Are Loving The Bathroom Trend Taking Over 2024

Wood bathroom vanities are trending in 2024. According to the 2023 U.S. Houzz Bathroom Trends Study, where around 2,000 homeowners were surveyed, 33% opted for wood vanities.
"[T]his attraction to wood vanities connects to a larger move throughout the home away from cool grays and stark whites to warmer neutrals," said Houzz editor Mitchell Parker.
Anyone who enjoys DIY projects and wants a wood vanity may want to create the piece. DIY TikToker Mailey Elaine posted a video showing her building a wood bathroom vanity.
The TikTok user first constructed the "cabinet carcass," and then added the bottom wood frame, legs, and trims. Next, the creator added a red oak top, drawers, and a sink.
