How A Simple Photo Frame Can Upgrade Your Boring Light Switch Cover

Imaginative decor can inject interest into otherwise unremarkable features. Give your dull light switch a designer facelift using just a photo frame and some stylish decorations.
Measure your chosen switch plate before purchasing a picture frame. Then, remove the frame's backing and glass, and wipe the surfaces on the back of the frame with rubbing alcohol.
After it dries, apply an adhesive, such as fastener dots or mounting squares, to the frame. Follow the adhesive’s directions and press it against the wall to ensure it sticks.
To create an eclectic look, use brightly colored or strangely shaped frames. Fill in the gap between the plate and the frame using decorative paper, washi tape, or even paint.
