How Nate Berkus Easily Fills Empty Wall Space On A Budget
By DARBY WAGLER
Designer Nate Berkus says that using your photos to decorate a wall personalizes your space on a budget. Simply print a large-scale version of your image and frame it.
If you have multiple pictures that could be used as artwork, create a gallery wall of them "to make your home feel layered and lived in and complete," says Berkus.
He also suggests framing "unexpected things like a beautiful menu, a handwritten note, or a kid's painting" or displaying objects like shells, rocks, or plants on your wall.
Berkus also recommends choosing pre-owned picture frames, as thrifting them will save you money and add character to your wall's design.
