How Nate Berkus & Jeremiah Brent Keep Their Home Smelling Fresh

When it comes to keeping their home smelling fresh, HGTV’s Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent prefer incense over candles, which does more than make their place smell good.
Dim lighting, fresh incense, and groovy music can stimulate a room from a design into an experience. It can also help a room transition from day to night.
"There's something really beautiful about the ceremony of [incense] and I'm grateful to Jeremiah for bringing it into my world," Berkus shared in an interview with Domino.
In 2022, Brent partnered with Grove Collaborative to release a line of home accessories, including Himalayan Sea Salt and Sage incense.
While aroma is a personal preference, traditional incense fragrances are linked to each season, such as cinnamon or sage for fall and cherry blossom or jasmine for spring.
