How To Clean Patio Pavers Without A Pressure Washer
By TRICIA GOSS
If cleaning your patio pavers with a pressure washer isn’t an option, use a stiff brush or broom with soapy water or a white vinegar and water solution.
Aside from aesthetics, maintaining clean patio pavers is important to help prevent the growth of mold and mildew that can thrive in damp conditions often found in outdoor areas.
Start by sweeping any loose dirt or debris. If any pavers are heavily stained, cover them with towels soaked in soapy water or vinegar for an hour before you start cleaning.
Apply your cleaning solution and scrub the pavers in a circular motion using a stiff brush or broom. Rinse thoroughly with a hose to remove any leftover soap residue.
Once clean, let the pavers dry completely before walking on them or putting furniture back in place. Avoid stains by cleaning your outdoor furniture before you put it back.
