How To DIY A Farmhouse Chic Tissue Holder With An Old Mason Jar

Reusing glass jars around the house is a great way to reduce waste while also creating unique designs. For example, you can easily turn your mason jars into chic tissue holders.
First, remove the lid’s insert and trace a circle around it on a piece of colored, plain, or printed cardstock. Then, cut out the circle and use it to replace the original insert.
Take the contents of a tissue box and place them inside the mason jar before screwing the lid back on. Then, cut a crisscross opening in the cardstock to pull the tissues through.
Finally, personalize your tissue holder using paint, stencils, decoupage, or even faux-stained glass. Sand the jar first to allow the paint to bond better with the surface.
