How To Repurpose An Old Chandelier To Attract More Birds To Your Lawn
By JACQUELINE DELIBES
You can turn a chandelier fixture into a bird feeder with just a few adaptions. Start with choosing a lamp with curving branches and minimal hanging trinkets.
If you intend to attract hummingbirds, paint your chandelier red. Drill holes into the bottom of each arm and screw in a hook to hang lightweight hummingbird feeders.
Secure small bowls at the end of each upward-facing arm for wild birds using a powerful adhesive like WeldBond. Use different seeds in each bowl to attract various species.
Use a heavy-duty shepherd's hook pole to hang the feeder in the least windy spot on your property, and you'll attract colorful new birds to the yard.
