How To Repurpose Your Chandelier To DIY A Unique Planter
By A. R. HOPKINS
If you have an old chandelier lying around the house, try turning it into a stylish hanging planter. Even a dated, tarnished, or damaged chandelier will add to the planter's charm.
To keep the project simple, make sure each light fixture can hold a small plant and adequate soil. If you don’t mind the extra work, you can replace the fixtures with small pots.
Use spray paint if you want to change the chandelier’s appearance. Once the paint dries, remove any remaining light bulbs and insert a plant in each light fixture or attached pot.
Ensure that your pots have proper drainage so your plants thrive. Then, you can customize the planter by adding suncatcher beads, windchimes, glitter, or anything else you prefer.
