TikTok user @ariannakaranja came up with a clever way not only to add storage to her laundry room but also put an unused bookshelf
to good use.
By adding wheels to the bottom of the bookshelf and a handle to the side, she created storage for laundry detergent and fabric softener that slides between the washer and dryer.
You’ll need a bookshelf that fits your space. If you need to buy one, the Room Essentials 3 Shelf Bookcase from Target comes in black, white, or brown so you can match your decor.
You’ll also need a handle and wheels — simply screw them onto your bookshelf and you’re done. You can also get some baskets to slide onto your bookshelf to store laundry items in.
