How To
Use Felt To Soundproof Any Room In Your Home
By JACQUELINE DELIBES
You can soundproof your room by adding sound-absorbing materials, like felt. One clever way of doing so is pasting felt to the back of a piece of artwork in your room.
The purpose of adding felt is to absorb and muffle sound. Take a poster, painting, mirror, or framed photograph off your wall and measure the frame's width and length.
Cut out a piece of felt about three-quarters of an inch smaller from the frame so it isn't visible when hanging on the wall. Use a double-sided tape to stick the felt to the frame.
