How To Use Hydrogen Peroxide For
A Squeaky Clean Fridge
By JACQUELINE DELIBES
Cleaning your fridge can help fight bacteria that could ultimately cause food to spoil quicker, and hydrogen peroxide is perfect for ensuring that bacteria is kept at a minimum.
First, fill your sink with ice and bury your food in it. Then, transfer the amount of hydrogen peroxide you need into a spray bottle, and have a sponge or microfiber cloth ready.
To make the process quicker and easier, remove parts like shelves and drawers, then begin spraying the entire interior. Next, let it sit for a good 10 minutes with the door closed.
In the meantime, you can spray the removed shelves and drawers. Lastly, wipe the interior with a rag or sponge, and do the same for the other pieces that were removed.
