How To Use Rubbing Alcohol To Banish Pesky Mice From Your Home
By JOANNA MARIE
When battling a mouse problem in your home, rubbing alcohol may feel like a good solution. However, you will need to combine it with essential oils to get the desired results.
If you want to incorporate rubbing alcohol into a proven rodent repellent, start by targeting those out-of-the-way places that offer mice shelter and proximity to food.
Then, fill a spray bottle with one cup of rubbing alcohol. Add two teaspoons of essential oil such as eucalyptus to the liquid and shake gently to mix the contents thoroughly.
It’s important to reapply this natural repellent weekly for consistent effectiveness. If you choose to use cotton balls soaked in the solution, make sure you replace them often.
