Hydrogen Peroxide Is All You Need For A Clean Shower Drain
By RIA BHAGWAT
Shower drains deal with soapy water, loose hairs, and bacteria that can lead to a buildup of fungus and mold. Thankfully, using hydrogen peroxide as a cleaner can tackle the issue.
Hydrogen peroxide is an antifungal agent that can prevent and remove any trace of mold or mildew. It’s an inexpensive, all-natural cleaner that works without harsh chemical fumes.
Pour half a bottle of undiluted hydrogen peroxide into an empty spray bottle. Spray across the shower, let it sit for 10 minutes, then use a wet sponge to scrub away any grime.
Lift the shower drain cover with a screwdriver, and spray the hydrogen peroxide inside. Use a small brush to remove any remaining gunk, then rinse the drain off with warm water.
