Hydrogen Peroxide Is The Secret To A Sparkling Clean Sink
By V BAWA
Cleaning sinks can be challenging if you're dealing with tough buildup. Thankfully, creating a mixture of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide is perfect for ridding stubborn grime.
Baking soda is a mildly abrasive deodorizer, which allows it to be used on sensitive surfaces without causing damage, while hydrogen peroxide is more of a disinfectant.
This means it can kill bacteria, viruses, and fungi on surfaces; however, it can also act as a deodorizer and brighten surfaces. To create the mixture, first wet the sink.
Then, sprinkle in some baking soda. Use a sponge to scrub the surface before pouring a bit of hydrogen peroxide on the sponge and scrubbing again.
When you're done, rinse the sink properly. If you prefer to make a paste, mix about ¼ cup of baking soda, 2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide, and a small amount of water.
Spread it on problem areas and let it sit for a few minutes. Use a soft scrubbing brush or sponge to go over the sink before rinsing and drying with a microfiber cloth.
