Jennifer Todryk Of No Demo Reno Shares Home Upgrades Anyone Can Make
By ADRIANNA MACPHERSON
HGTV is known for pretty big renovations, but not every project requires tearing down walls. Jennifer Todryk, from "No Demo Reno," reveals simple upgrades homeowners can make to revamp a home completely, and her first suggestion is a fresh coat of paint on the trim or door for an easy, yet budget-friendly, project.
An old light fixture can make the space feel outdated, so Todryk recommends simply replacing it with one that’s more aligned with your desired look. Faucets are the second fixture to swap out, and if you’re feeling up to it, consider swapping out sinks or shower heads to freshen up the room.
The kitchen is one of the most used rooms in a home, so it’s essential to invest in your cabinets by painting them, swapping the hardware, or even adding new cabinet doors and drawer fronts. Todryk also suggests focusing on any unused space, like the area under your stairs, because you can add functionality and style without sacrificing any square footage.
