Keep Hummingbirds Coming To Your Feeder All Summer With This Hack
By KRISTEEN CHERNEY
As temperatures rise, traditional nectar can become too warm for hummingbirds to drink, deterring them from your feeder. Fortunately, nectar ice cubes can still attract them.
To make nectar ice cubes, boil a mixture of 1 cup of white sugar and 4 cups of purified water. Once the solution has cooled, pour it into ice cube trays and freeze it.
Each morning, place fresh nectar ice cubes in the feeder to ensure hummingbirds have a clean and cool food source, making it more likely they will continue to visit your garden.
