Keep Your Countertops Stain-Free With A Can Of WD-40
By ALEXANDRA RODRIGUEZ
WD-40 is known for cleaning multiple areas around your house by removing various things like rust and grease; however, you can also use it to clean up stains on
your countertops.
Spray WD-40 on the stain and let it sit for a few minutes to degrease it. Then, add a small amount of WD-40 to a damp sponge or clean cloth and wipe the stain until it's gone.
Don't apply WD-40 to granite countertops as they're porous; the oil will penetrate through the counter and leak out of it, possibly contaminating any food.
There are some precautions to take when using WD-40 — for instance, ensure the area is well-ventilated and avoid using it around hot surfaces or on electrical outlets.
