It can be hard to keep your home stylish when you have your pets’ food and water bowls to contend with. Thankfully, HGTV's Hilary Farr has a clever way to hide pet bowls.
On Season 17 of "Love It or List It," Farr shared a custom-made pet bowl cabinetry insert that opens for feeding and slides closed to blend in with the rest of your cabinetry.
Not only do you get to hide your pets' feeding station as needed, but elevated bowls are better for dogs' posture and digestion, and are known to reduce the risk of choking.
While innovative, this solution is not for everyone. The cabinet insert is not practical if you free-feed your pets, and it could be hard to clean if you have porous wood cabinets.
