Keep Your Kitchen Cabinets Scuff-Free With This Pool Noodle Hack
By RACHEL ANN MELEGRITO
Swinging objects around the house, such as trash can lids, often lead to scuffs and scratches on nearby surfaces, like kitchen cabinets. To solve this problem, use a pool noodle.
To turn a pool noodle into a bumper guard, cut it in half or trim it down further, and then use double-sided tape to attach it to your kitchen cabinets or other affected surfaces.
This hack helps you avoid unattractive scuffs and peeling paint on surfaces, such as cabinets or doors, while also preventing the collision's annoying sound.
The major downside, however, is that pool noodles usually come in bright colors, disrupting the room's aesthetic. For a more subdued, natural look, consider using
pipe insulation.
