Make The Most Of Your Small Bathroom With This Nate Berkus Tip
By KRISTY BOWEN
When it comes to a small bathroom’s lack of storage space, HGTV’s Nate Berkus recommends installing floating shelves and using attractive baskets for concealment
and organization.
Floating shelves are affordable and easy to install — plus, they grant a more open and less cluttered feel, while the baskets help keep items organized and within reach.
Shelves can have a thicker width if they’re higher on the wall and above fixtures like the toilet, where they won’t interfere with traffic.
Slenderer shelves should be at lower levels to give you more clearance for movement, and are great for storing extra bottles of shampoo or rolls of toilet paper.
