Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent aren’t afraid to make a home truly stand out with Prunella marble, which features burgundy, gray, and eggplant veining on a creamy white backdrop.
The pair has loved this statement marble for years, as seen in a photo of their bathroom from their former L.A. home, which Berkus recently shared on Instagram.
The stunning marble is on three walls of the shower, a border around the glass shower doors, baseboards around the room, and also frames a mirror over the pedestal sinks.
The bold veining stands out among the subtle tan walls, creating an attention grabbing feature that evokes both old-world luxury and modern timelessness.
Although it’s more expensive, Prunella marble is best in large spaces where the entire slab of marble can be shown off rather than cut down into smaller pieces.
