Never Miss
A Spot When Fertilizing
Your Lawn With This Hack
By ROCHELLE HEATH-HARRIS
Missing a spot when fertilizing the lawn will result in a pale, unhealthy-looking strip of grass. If you hit the same place twice, you'll have stark, dark green stripes.
To avoid these mistakes, take a couple of pieces of wood to mark it off as you go. When you get to the end of the first row, mark the edge of the fertilizer where you stop.
When you start a new row, put a wood marker down at the edge of the fertilizer. At the other end, when you turn the corner to return, put another marker down.
Aiming towards the marker from the opposite end will help you go forward. Good coverage is important when fertilizing your lawn, and this will help you not miss a spot.
