No Demo Reno Says This Color Scheme No Longer Works In A Bathroom
By ALEXANDRIA TAYLOR
Jennifer Todryk of HGTV’s “No Demo Reno” says that brown makes a bathroom too dark. It was popular in the early 2000s and 2010s, but other neutrals have now become more popular.
An overabundance of brown in a space makes it look dated, but that doesn't mean you have to get rid of everything brown in your house, as brown accents can add warmth.
The Everygirl says to make browns look more modern by using them to accent white. That accent could be brown leather chairs, brown wood furniture, or brown suede pillows.
Other popular color trends are earth tones, which add a warmer look to the space, and terracotta, which can easily take the place of brown as a warm neutral in interior design.
