Hydrogen peroxide is safe to use for cleaning and disinfecting your hardwood flooring; however, avoid using it in a highly concentrated form because it can bleach wood.
Hydrogen peroxide is a safe oxidizing cleaner for porcelain or ceramic tile, and it even whitens grout, which is especially useful for dirty kitchen and bathroom floors.
Use equal parts hydrogen peroxide and water to safely clean your vinyl floors, or spot-clean stains with 3% hydrogen peroxide alone. Add baking soda for extra potency.
To safely spot-clean stains on slate, add a 1:1 ratio of water and hydrogen peroxide to a spray bottle. Then, spray the stain, let it sit for 10 minutes, then scrub and rinse.
Spray some hydrogen peroxide on a carpet stain, like blood, wine, or coffee, then gently blot it with a damp rag. Repeat the process until the stain disappears.
