Prevent Paint Splatters With One Clever WD-40 Hack
By DARBY WAGLER
WD-40 can help make cleaning up after painting a lot easier. Simply covering your hardware with this product will make any drips extremely effortless to wipe off metal surfaces.
Furthermore, if you're painting over a tile floor and you accidentally drip onto the tiles, just a few sprays of WD-40 should make the drip easy to wipe off with a clean rag.
You can also spray WD-40 on paint brushes to make them easier to clean, to loosen bristles that are stiff and stuck together, or to prevent rust on the metal part of the brush.
