Protect Your Garden From Hungry Rabbits With This Baby Powder Hack
By SAKSHI KHAITAN
Sprinkle baby powder on and around your low-lying crops, shrubs, and flowers for a more humane and inexpensive way to deter hungry rabbits from snacking on them.
Baby powder can mask the smell of your plants and flowers. Rabbits have a keen sense of smell, so if they can’t smell your garden well, they will easily lose interest.
Moreover, rabbits don’t appreciate the taste of baby powder in their food. If you don’t have baby powder handy, you can substitute it with regular talcum powder.
This is a short-term solution at best, as the powder is light and can easily get carried away. You also may need to reapply every time you water your plants or when it rains.
