This finding offers a simple and humane way to repel mice from your home. Just apply banana oil to cotton balls and place them in areas where you've noticed
mouse activity.
However, this approach doesn't provide a one-size-fits-all solution. It mainly affects male mice, not females, and some mice might still be attracted to bananas as a food source.
For optimal results, consider using this banana hack in combination with other mouse-repellent scents, such as peppermint essential oil, cinnamon, vinegar, or cayenne pepper.
