Baking soda is an excellent remedy for removing stubborn stains from both the exterior of your coffee machine and the carafe, especially if the latter is made from glass.
To leverage this hack, create a paste using equal parts baking soda and water, and gently scrub it over the marks. Wipe everything with a damp cloth before drying them completely.
Additionally, this pantry staple can help you deep clean your coffee maker. To clean the pot, detach it from the machine if you can, then fill it to the brim with boiling water.
Add 2 tablespoons of baking soda, allow it to dissolve for around 30 minutes, then rinse the pot clean. As for the reservoir, fill it with water and pour in ½ cup of the soda.
Next, run a regular cycle on your machine, then empty the reservoir. Follow this with two more cycles of just water to ensure that no baking soda residue is left behind.
