If you’ve got some old binders lying around from work or college, TikToker @redeux_style can help you repurpose its metal ring mechanism to declutter spaces around your home.
You’ll need wide binders of 2 inches or more, as the rings need to be big enough to hold various objects. Use a knife to separate the ring mechanism from the spine of the folder.
Next, use screws to secure the binder rings vertically or horizontally inside a cabinet, with the rings open. The TikToker hung hers in a bathroom cabinet to store a curling iron.
You can use these to store hair straighteners, tools, paintbrushes, belts, scarves, kitchen utensils, aprons, or potted plants in the garage, laundry, kitchen, or other room.
