Riser
To create a rustic riser, glue square blocks from a wood bead garland to the bottom corners of a bamboo cutting board, then cover it in self-adhering contact paper.
Tray
Make a rustic storage tray on risers using a walled tray, like the Dollar Tree Crafter's Square Wooden Tray. Use any wood pieces for the legs — even little wood figurines.
Mini Risers

Glue two candle holders between a decorative plate and two pie pans to create a three-tier display. Paint the pieces, then brush on chalk paint for a distressed look.
