Save Your Bathroom Soap With This Clever Mesh Produce Bag Idea
By DANIELLE RAMOS-SULLIVAN
As soap wears down with use, you’re often left with small shards piling up in the shower. They usually go to waste or frustratingly slip out of your hand when you try to use them.
To solve this issue, use mesh produce bags, especially those used for garlic, to store soap slivers. It will keep the soap pieces together, ensuring every last bit of soap is used.
The mesh will allow water to pass through, making it easy to rinse the soap and keep the bag clean after each use. Hang it on a hook or place it on a soap dish to keep it dry.
Additionally, the mesh material is gentle on the skin but abrasive enough to work as an exfoliator. You can wet the bag with the soap in it and use it to scrub your skin.
