Say Goodbye To Bakeware Stains With This Handy Pantry Ingredient
By RHIANNON FAITH IRELAND
Pyrex and other glass bakeware can pick up stubborn stains that are hard to scrub away. Fortunately, you can use baking soda with some dish soap to easily remove set-in stains.
This trick works due to baking soda’s abrasiveness and alkali nature and dish soap’s ability to cut through grease. Combined with hot water, they effectively tackle stains.
To start, sprinkle baking soda evenly across the whole surface of the dish before adding a drop or two of soap. Pour hot water in and let it soak for at least 10 minutes.
Next, use a scrubber to work on the stains, which should now be loosened up. Add more baking soda if extra grit is needed, being careful not to scratch the dish, then rinse.
