Sharpen Dull Scissors With A Genius Drill Bit Hack
By TRINITY ARCHIE
Instead of throwing away your dull scissors and buying new ones, you can sharpen the old pair to get them working like new once again with the help of a drill bit.
Start by grabbing an old drill bit of any size that you don't mind damaging. Then, set the drill bit in between the scissors' blades at the very bottom near the screw.
Close the scissors against the drill bit while simultaneously pulling the bit upward. Repeat this motion until you are satisfied with the sharpness of your scissors.
Test out their cutting power on a piece of paper to help determine when to stop. Finally, use a cloth to wipe away the metal scrapings that peeled off from the scissors' blades.
