Simple Fixes For Yellowing Bamboo
By CHRISTY RAE AMMONS
Unfortunately, yellow leaves on a bamboo plant will never become green again, and the problems usually revolve around sunlight, water, fertilization, and its environment.
Yellowing of indoor bamboo is often caused by excessive amounts of fertilizer or sunlight, a lack of water, water with an excess of chemicals, or the temperature inside your home.
Outdoor bamboo turns yellow if there are not enough nutrients in the soil, it receives too much or too little water, the weather is particularly sunny or windy, or there are pests.
Adjust your plant's exposure to these factors accordingly and see how your plant reacts. You can also use cleaner water or add nutrients to the soil to help keep its color.
