When growing a hydroponic garden, you need a way to support your plants without soil. YouTuber @KeepOnGrowin came up with an easy, cheap, and effective solution using pool noodles.
Cut the noodles into 1-inch-thick rounds, and nestle the seedlings into their center holes. The noodle will cushion the seedlings when they’re put into a hydroponic rail system.
This would work in various hydroponic systems, but it’s important to match the pool noodle size to the holes in the hydroponic equipment so the fit isn’t too tight or too loose.
You can buy products designed to support seedlings, but this hack is a budget-friendly alternative. Just make sure you use only PVC-free pool noodles to avoid toxins leaching out.
