Store Extension Cords Neatly With This Genius Hack
By ROSE OKEKE
Extension cords are essential while working around the house, but improper storage can lead to damage or breakage. Fortunately, there’s a simple solution for storing them safely.
An effective way to store your extension cord is by using the bucket method which will preserve your cord by wrapping it at a circumference that won’t threaten its integrity.
For this hack, you’ll need an empty, clean paint bucket and a cutting tool. Start by cutting a hole at the base of the bucket’s side and passing the plug of the cord through it.
Next, spiral the remaining cable inside the bucket. Utilize the lower hole for plugging it in, and when connecting something, draw the cord by using the bucket as a hose reel.
