Tackle Your Silverfish Problem With This Flavorful Herb

Silverfish commonly lurk in dark corners of the home or in areas with high humidity, such as bathrooms, but you can repel them by using an herb you may already
have: rosemary.
Rosemary is one of several scents that silverfish tend to dislike. While they can eat virtually anything, silverfish tend to avoid certain herbs, spices, and citrus scents.
Grow your own rosemary to have the herb on hand not only for cooking but for repelling pests. It needs plenty of sunlight and well-draining soil and can take a full year to mature.
Make a simple repellent by filling DIY sachet bags with dried rosemary leaves. Tie them up securely and place them in areas such as your closet, drawers, and under sinks.
Create a potpourri mix with rosemary and other scents they dislike such as cinnamon and lemon. Place dishes of this potpourri around the home to repel the bugs.
You can also use fresh rosemary in bundles, wreaths, or garlands, or place sprigs in bud vases. Tie some sprigs together and place them right at the source of any infestation.
