Exterior
On "Fixer Upper: The Castle," Chip and Joanna Gaines cleaned the exterior with a chemical treatment, painted the windows black, installed steel awnings, and added a garden.
The front door is proof that little details matter: the gold studs, layered wood pattern, and bar door handle work together to make an attractive and welcoming entryway.
Drawing Room
The plaster and wood paneling on the wall were restored, and the cherry wood finish was painted light gray to brighten the space and complement the plush furniture.
The original marble mantle on the fireplace remained, but new hardwood floors needed to be installed. The golden orb light fixture pulls the space together and creates softness.
Dining Room
This dark, cozy room's wood paneling was restored to give it a crisp appearance, and the floral wallpaper in shades of green and pink complements the classical theme.
A long table and 12 antique chairs feature studded detailing. While a little dark and moody, the room is brightened by the giant white, stone fireplace and two large chandeliers.
