Tarek El Moussa Tells Us How Much His Most Expensive House Flip Cost

In April 2022, Tarek and Heather Rae El Moussa purchased a four-bedroom, three-bath home in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles for $2.15 million.
Tarek updated the rear deck and painted the home’s exterior in a clean, neutral color palette. Perhaps the best upgrade to the exterior was the dark brown horizontal slatted wood.
He also turned a cramped upstairs with a kitchen and living room into a bright, open-concept space that seamlessly connected to the deck outside through large glass doors.
Two of the home’s four bedrooms were actually closets, so Tarek turned a downstairs flex space into a third bedroom. He also completely renovated
the bathrooms.
With a renovation budget of about $400,000, the total cost of the project ended up being over $2.5 million, making it Tarek's most expensive flip to date.
When renovations were done, the mid-century modern home was listed at $2,895,000, and after several months on the market, it finally sold for $2,580,000, per Zillow.
