Rather than throwing away your old egg cartons, you can use them to create pretty flower ornaments to dot around your garden or patio, adding pops of bright color.
You’ll need a cardboard egg carton, acrylic or spray paint in a color of your choice, a hot glue gun, scissors, and paper clips or yarn. Even your kids can have fun doing this.
TikTok user @easy_crafts.official suggests using the Artecho Acrylic Paint Set. It is available on Amazon for $24.99 and comes in 24 colors.
Once dry, cut it into pieces and glue them together. Either leave the circle in the middle empty or fill it in with a fake flower, and attach a paper clip or yarn to hang it up.
You can create multiple flowers to place around your patio, porch, or yard, or make a string of flowers to hang outside — it’s a great decoration idea to celebrate spring time.
