The Beautiful Flower You'll Want To Plant Near Your Forsythia
By KATIE FRANCIS
Planting irises and forsythia bushes in the same soil has several positive physical effects. One being that they both thrive in direct sunlight and prefer the same pH of soil.
Both flowering plants also attract bees, butterflies, and birds, all of which benefit and promote the plants' growth by pollinating
the flowers in bloom.
Since the flowering period for both irises and forsythias is early spring, it makes it easy for these natural pollinators to work between the two blooming plants.
Irises and forsythia shrubs also visually complement one another. You can mix and match iris species
in front of a blooming forsythia to add even more color to your landscape
