The Best Method To Fix Water-Damaged Laminate Flooring Fast
By KYLE SCHURMAN
When laminate flooring is water-damaged, it swells, causing visible bubbling or raised edges. To repair it, you first need to remove the affected piece and let it
dry completely.
Next, apply wood glue to the exposed edge, ensuring it deeply penetrates the separating layers. Then, use a heavy object or a clamp to press the glued layers
tightly together.
Remove any excess glue that seeps out once you apply the weight or force. Once the glue has dried, return the flooring to its original spot.
If the laminate still appears water-damaged, consider replacing it with a new one or swapping it with a piece from a less noticeable area of
your home.
