The Best Spot In Your Garden To Hang Your Hummingbird Feeder

Hummingbirds require both open space and cover to feel safe, so there needs to be enough open space around the feeder for them to visually locate it from different angles.
These feeders, however, should also always be placed within 10 to 15 feet of shrubs or other foliage where they can quickly take cover or even nest.
Make sure your feeder is easily accessible so that you can change the nectar often, but also keep it 15 to 20 feet from the nearest window so they don’t fly into the glass.
