The Best Time Of Year To Plant Peonies For The Perfect Summer Bloom
By TRICIA GOSS
Although you can plant peonies in the early spring, fall is generally recommended to allow the plants to adapt to their surroundings and develop robust root systems.

To ensure healthy peonies, choose a sunny spot with well-draining soil that is slightly acidic. Plant the root about 1 inch deep, with its eyes facing upward, and water thoroughly.
