"Checkered flooring is something I don't think I will ever grow tired of," Berkus revealed on his Instagram account, expressing his lasting admiration for this timeless design.
With its high contrast and dramatic appeal, this design is particularly well-suited for smaller or transitional spaces like foyers, hallways, mudrooms, and even
laundry rooms.
To complement the bold black and white tiles, consider pairing them with warm wood furniture, art, mirrors, and neutral wall colors with one significant splash of color.
