The Dated Home Feature That The Property Brothers Want You To Avoid
By V BAWA
Wall niches are designed to hold pots and pans and can also serve as additional storage spaces, but the Property Brothers mainly view them as inconvenient dust collectors.
Large, deep, and awkwardly placed near the ceiling, this dated feature is impractical to use on a regular basis. It’s best to fill it in and adopt better storage solutions.
For instance, pot racks can be attached to the ceiling, depending on the ceiling’s height. They are open, lean, and easy to access from the ground.
An even more accessible design feature, however, would be a wall-mounted rack or a pull-out drawer rack, which will help save space and keep the pots out of sight.
