The Foolproof Method Martha Stewart Uses To Clean Her Bathtub
By KELLY CATLIN
When you bathe, your skin's oils mix with soap and water, creating a grimy layer on your tub. Fortunately, all you need to remove this buildup is baking soda,
per Martha Stewart.
Baking soda can dissolve organic compounds commonly found in bathtubs, including general dirt. Additionally, it's mildly abrasive, so you
can deep clean without
damaging the tub.
Wet a sponge, wring out excess moisture, add baking soda to it, then clean the grime away. However, this method may scratch fiberglass tubs, so use baking soda differently on them.
On fiberglass tubs, spray a mix of vinegar and warm water over grimes, sprinkle baking soda, then let it sit for about 10 minutes. Finally, wipe it clean with a microfiber cloth.
