The Furniture Staple TikTok Made From A Clawfoot Tub

If you own an old cast iron clawfoot tub that you don't know what to do with, consider refurbishing it to recreate an eccentric sofa seen in the 1961 film "Breakfast at Tiffany's."
The hack comes from TikToker @jakes_take0, who found a tub that already had one side removed. If you have a fully intact tub, you can still cut out a side
with a circular saw.
Ensure the tub is lead paint-free, then wire brush it, including the hardware, to remove any rust and create an even base to work from. Next, cut the tub on one side.
If you aren't sure about your sawing skill, make a few first attempts in the middle section of the tub's side before making the actual cut. Then, sand the cut with the wire brush.
Prime the tub and paint it your preferred color using oil paint, then seal it with Rust-Oleum Ultra Cover clear gloss or similar products. Finally, add some cushions for comfort.
