If you want to keep your freezer smelling fresh, especially when you might be away from home for an extended period, a simple and effective solution is to use coffee grounds.
This method ensures your freezer remains odor-free, even if the power goes out and food spoils. Simply add some coffee grounds to a jar or a saucer and place it in
the freezer.
You can use either fresh or used coffee grounds as long as they are dry. Once you return home, remove the spoiled food and leave the coffee grounds in the freezer for a bit longer.
Afterward, do some basic cleaning to remove any lingering coffee smell. Additionally, remember to replace the coffee grounds periodically to maintain
their effectiveness.
