The Household Necessity That'll Leave Your Vinyl Floors Spotless
By D.G. SCIORTINO
If you have vinyl floors, you must use a cleaner that will not harm them. Thankfully, you probably already have what you need in your house: hydrogen peroxide.
Hydrogen peroxide has germ-fighting power against viruses, fungi, and bacteria. It is also stellar at lifting stains, leaving your vinyl floors clean and sparkling.
When trying to remove a stain, pour 3% strength hydrogen peroxide onto the area. Use a rag to help you rub it into the stain and repeat this process until the stain is removed.
If you're looking to clean your entire floor, pour equal parts water and hydrogen peroxide into a bucket. Dampen your mop with the solution and use it to clean your floors.
Leave the solution on your floors for at least five minutes, so it kills all of the bacteria. After that, dry your floors thoroughly with a towel, fan, or by letting them air dry.
